Description
Handwoven platter baskets from East side of Senegal, has been made from coiled grass and split palm fronds for generation.
Traditionally, Wolof women made baskets by binding njodax, a thick local grass, with long strips of reed.
How clever! to replace the palm with plastic tubing often straight from the plastic mat factory in Dakar. This will fit right in your space to serve dishes that will impress your guests or beautifully hanged on your wall
