How can I care for my textiles?
Our products are made with 100% cotton and/or recycled objects, crafted with dexterity and passion to your home, so some of them may require special attention ;)
PLEASE NOTE that all our fabrics are pre-washed to prevent color bleeding; however, since the color of the fabric is a natural dye, it may transfer if exposed to excessive moisture. The fabric is made of hand-sewn and woven straps. For these reasons, you will sometimes observe small gaps between the bands, which gives a unique character to each product.
Find our recommendations below. Please note you should always be cautious when dealing with handmade goods.
Organic Pillow covers:
Every textile is hand washed cold to preserve their quality before sewing. We recommend dry cleaning or delicate/soft cold settings in your machine and lay flat to dry.
Throw Blankets:
Dry cleaning is advisable for our blankets that are pre-washed and handle with care for you. Or hand wash using lukewarm water and gentle kneading. Use a good neutral soap or light detergent. Iron the back on a low temperature. When storing your blanket make sure to fold it leaving the wrong face on the outside. Do not keep African Mudcloth under direct sunlight for too long it could deteriorate the natural color of the fabric.
